Upgrade your existing licensed computer to a higher edition to unlock additional features or licensing requirements. To determine what version you currently have notice the start screen when Logbook Pro starts up or click Help > About Logbook Pro to find the Edition.

After purchase a license code will be issued. Click Help > Activate Licenses... and enter the issued name/code pair and the new license level will be immediately active.

Try Before You Buy

Logbook Pro Desktop offers the following license levels to best suit your needs. While unregistered Logbook Pro allows up to 50 flight log entries with no time limit to evaluate the product and all of its features. If syncing data from Logbook Pro on a phone or tablet only 50 entries total can be saved so be sure to activate with a purchased PC (desktop) license to continue without restriction.

Fee Based Upgrade Policy

Logbook Pro Desktop is NOT a subscription. A license code is issued to the licensee which unlocks the software for unrestricted use and never expires. All upgrades in the same major version (first part of the version number) remains the same. For example 1.1 to 1.2 is a free upgrade. 1.3 to 2.0 is a fee based upgrade. Logbook Pro Desktop was released over 20 years ago and we have never charged for an upgrade keeping the version numbers at 1.x the entire time.

Standard Edition

Licenses one PC for use by one pilot unlimited use

Professional Edition

Licenses two PC's for use by one pilot, i.e. a Desktop and Laptop scenario.

Enterprise Edition

Licenses one PC for use by unlimited pilots

Multiple Licenses

Set the quantity to the number of licenses needed prior to adding the product to the shopping cart. For volume discounts of 10 or more licenses please contact us for a quote.

Logbook Pro Desktop requires Microsoft Windows (Vista or later) both 32 and 64 bit versions are supported.

macOS systems require a host such as Parallels Desktop or VMWare Fusion which can run Windows like any other app on a Mac. Once Windows is installed within the above host you can then install and use Logbook Pro normally.
